These are the strategic priorities which guide WHPA's work in 2024-2027.

 

1. Building a sustainable health workforce

  • WHPA ensures that the health professions are recognised for their vital contribution to improving health through effective workforce planning and appropriate working terms and conditions.


2. Strengthening health systems

  • WHPA promotes evidence-informed health professionals as integral to robust health systems, delivering timely care, and actively involved in shaping solutions.


3. Championing collaborative practice

  • WHPA advocates for the importance of interprofessional education and practice to deliver equitable and accessible health services for all.
